We transformed the Syrian embassy in Berlin into a giant prison and put Syria’s dictator Bashar al-Assad behind bars.
A powerful light projection marking the International Day of the Disappeared sent a message to the regime, and all groups that have detained and forcibly disappear more than 100,000 people, that justice will be done.
The embassy walls lit up with the last words that daughters, mothers, and wives heard from their loved ones before their disappearance. It ended with Assad behind bars, to demand that justice be the final word.
