The situation in besieged Ghouta right now is chaos and we need to use all of our collective might stop the massacres. In just three days 300 civilians were killed and the death toll is rising by the hour. Over 13 medical facilities have been knocked out of service and food storage facilities have been destroyed. With regime troops massing on the outskirts of the besieged neighbourhoods since the weekend, residents fear a full-scale military assault.
Ghouta’s more than 350,000 civilians are at the mercy of Russian and regime planes in the sky now
This is an SOS call. Contact the Russian Embassy in your country and tell them: the world is watching and we demand an end to the massacres in Ghouta.
Here are some points to help:
Hundreds of thousands of civilians in Eastern Ghouta are at the mercy of Russian and Syrian planes. I demand an immediate end to the bombing.
The deliberate targeting of hospitals and first responders amounts to a war crime. The world is watching. These attacks must stop now.
Russia must pressure the Syrian regime to immediately lift the siege of Eastern Ghouta and allow humanitarian aid and medical supplies in.
